Rev. Glenn L. Marshall received his high school equivalency diploma in January 1986 at Austin Community College. Later that same year, he received his certificate of license to preach the Gospel from New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. In July of 1997, Glenn was officially ordained into the Gospel Ministry by New Hope MBC. In addition, he was the recipient of a Ministerial Diploma from Austin Baptist Association in June of 2004. He currently serves as one of the ministerial associates at Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Rev.Marshall received a City of Austin training course certification in construction inspection in 1986. After spending a number of years of successful employment with the City, he retired in June 2007. He has characterized himself as a “workaholic” so we are sure he will find ample opportunities to become further engaged in church and community activities as time goes on. Currently he is a significant contributor to his classes in Sunday School and Discipleship Training.

Glenn is the husband of Sister Mattie Marshall who is active in several endeavors in Ebenezer, including the Sanctuary Choir. He is the middle child of a family of five, having two older siblings (brother and sister) and two younger siblings (brother and sister). Three of his siblings reside in California and one, his younger sister, lives in Austin.
