| The mission of the Ebenezer Social Committee is to provide a high level of service to meet or exceed expectations of all who partake and receive such service. This committee exists to plan, coordinate, and execute all details for any and all receptions, dinners, meals, and refreshments associated with church-sponsored events. As part of the expanded duties of this committee, any catered banquests or events relating to food require estimates provided by the Social Committee. Examples of the types of events handled include weddings, Annual Disinguished Service Award Banquets, Liberation Sunday meal, pastor's Anniversary and Birthday, Monthly Fellowship meal, weekly Fellowship-Hour Reception, Watch Night Fellowship and meals for bereaved families. The committee has responsibility for ordering and stocking all necessary supplies for these events. Through the Social Comittee, Ebenezer also makes available the Family Life Center ( for a fee) for weddings, birthday celebrations, and other kinds of receptions. Arrangements may be made by calling the Church Office (512-478-1875) or committee chairman, Beatrice Williams at ( 512-926-0492). |
