Ebenezer Baptist Church has been serving the Austin Community since its founding in 1875. It offers a rich blend of services and ministries that extend to all persons who desire to share in Christian fellowship and outreach. Those who attend services are rewarded with a worship experience that entails traditional as well as contemporary viewpoints of bibical history. Located at 1010 East 10th Street, Ebenezer has taken a very active role in the revitalization efforts underway in the East 11th Street corridor, and continues to broaden its mission of finding new members who are seeking a new church home.

Since 1969 Ebenezer has been led by Rev. Marvin C. Griffin, under whose leadership the church has enhanced its history of being a national leader in Christian service. Our mission is to develop Christ-like persons through worship, study, fellowship, and service.
